Greenwave is such a game changer with their rates and service. I had such a positive experience and wish I found out about their company sooner.
Great company, helping to provide carbon offset natural gas. They are helping the environment and de-monopolizing pg&e. I signed up at the door and it was a smooth and easy process.
Before I resumed my enrollment I called PG&E 1-800-743-5000 and asked them if Greenwave energy is legit. The girl verified they are an authorized CTA “core transport agent” authorized by the CPUC “Public Utility Commission” to operate in the state of California. in other words they are a gas supplier to PG&E participating in The PG&Es core Gas Aggregation service. I also found the program online as well. I just hate they send people door to door it’s 2025 for christ sake!
This service seems to be a scam to get more of our money for services they don't provide. They charge for gas service and a procurement charge that actually doubles your bill.
Recently, a man named Jeremy approached my door, smoking a cigarette, and asked for my PG&E bill. He claimed to be offering credits for those going green in California. I firmly declined his request and asked him to leave. Afterward, I spoke with a neighbor who informed me about a similar situation with a company called SFE, which resulted in her bill increasing by $200 due to additional delivery fees, and she incurred $400 in cancellation fees.
