I am so glad there are still places where providers really want to talk to you about your health. My visit with Janell wasn't rushed at all, and multiple times she asked me if I had any other questions, as well as bringing up topics that I had forgotten to ask about. I left the visit feeling better than I came in, largely due to the personal care I felt from the midwife.

I’ve been really picky and super nervous about where I’d like to be seen for my first pregnancy. Going into this appointment, I had a good bit of anxiety but from the moment I walked in, I felt so relaxed. Everyone there welcomed me and was so nice. The midwife I saw, Janell, was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable. She gave us so much information and answered any questions we had. I truly cannot imagine a better experience. The nurse who did my labs was also so kind and helpful. Everything was clean, we were able to di... read more

I have now had two wonderful births with GMC. For my family, it’s the perfect blend of hospital care for peace of mind in case of emergency and midwifery care entrusting my body to do what the Lord created it to do. I appreciate the midwives who gave my body space and time to birth my babies naturally and in a peaceful environment. Like all offices, there are some midwives you prefer over others, but all in all, I can say I’m so thankful I found GMC and teamed with them for my last two births.

I am so thankful to have received care from this team of midwives, despite it being such a short period of prenatal care leading up to my birth (which was also so positive thanks to this team!). Due to Hurricane Helene, at 36 weeks I transferred care from the birth center in Asheville to Greenville Midwifery. It was new, unexpected, and all happened very quickly, but I felt supported, heard, and aligned with each of the midwives I saw. Scheduling was easy, as was the care transfer process in general. I felt like each midwife... read more

It has taken me over a year to write this, but if it saves one person from the pain and heartbreak I have experienced it is worth sharing my story. I had a terrible experience with Greenville Midwifery Care that I believe put both my baby and myself in danger due to negligence and dismissive treatment. The midwife on call at the hospital during my labor, Janell Green, was AWOL during the majority of my labor. My nurse even tried calling her phone at a few different points and got no answer. During labor, I developed chorioam... read more
