I have been visiting this place twice a week for the past month and the only good thing I have to say is at least they are finally working on the hallways. The apartments are so outdated it's unbelievable compared to other income based units I have visited in the Greenville, Belding, and even Cedar Springs area. I have even noticed bullying among some residents who have seemed do developed a high school "CLIQUE" type of setting in the smoking area. How management does not see this is beyond my comprehension. Literally every single encounter, interaction, or appointment with this place is a nightmare. If you have them come to your home, they get whiny if you dont let them just come in alone. If you linger around they will just waste the whole day, and magically need to "come back later" trying to ruin your work day. Cara loves this i guess? Why are you so obsessed with getting into peoples homes alone? Kinda creepy as most of these places have children. No one needs ol maintenance man coming into their home all alone. I hace visited relatives three times a week for the last four months and I have witnessed the decline of Friendship House East. Trash is not picked up regularly and stinks going down the hallway to allegedly dispose of it. There was a four day period when my relatives did NOT have hot water. This happens regularly because the only maintenance man for this building and many others is not available and noone is on call during his absence.
