Greenspring Energy Scam I had Greenspring Energy install a 16.5 kw solar electric system at my home. As part of the deal I was to receive the proceeds of the energy credits generated by my system. Greenspring Energy has not paid me in over 2 years amounting to thousands of dollars even though the contract requires them to do so within 30 days of sales. They have done the same to many other customers, read the reviews. Avoid Greenspring unless you just want to be ripped off.
This is an evil company I want to go Green. I searched the Internet and found Greenspring Energy - located in Timonium, MD. They also have offices in North Carolina and Pennsylvania. This company is deceptive and unethical. I have been lied to and misled at every step. The sales presentation was slick and competent. Poor management of the business I had a solar hot water system installed. Initially the metal hoses were pulled through a chase and allowed to kink and stick out an upstairs access hole. A week later they came to fix that. A week later a check came from their bank for the loan to pay it. I endorsed the check and mailed it 3 days later. 3 weeks later, they emailed asking about the check. I said I mailed it three weeks ago. Greenspring Solar I usually don't review many businesses, but I feel the need to let people know what to expect when they hire this company. I started out with having 3 companies come to my house to show me what the different options were as far as solar panels go. I liked the salesman from Greenspring the most.
