I was booked with Dr Hayley Peckston and when coming in for my 30 week appointment her whole tone changed towards me due to my pregnancy becoming high risk. I am a self funded private patient and she told me I needed to change hospitals and was pushing me towards public by saying how if I am ICU the costs would be extreme along with if my baby was in NCCU the costs would be extreme as well. My experience with Greenslopes and Dr Melissa McKenzie is unforgettable. My son will turn eight this year, and the way Dr Melissa and the midwifery team at the hospital cared for us left me with immense gratitude and warmth that has never faded. After moving to a different state, the poor level of care I received during subsequent deliveries has only deepened my appreciation. That’s why after all these years, I felt compelled to return here and leave this review. Big thanks and highly recommended.

UPDATE 29/4/25: The clinic has been in touch to rectify the problem, refund has been sent and they even offered gift card for my troubles. I am glad my experience was a once-off, I recalled the clinic was very professional in the past, so it's good that they have maintained that, barring this lapse (will blame the many public hols in Apr!) ---- Original post: In late March I was asked to send $330 to secure an appointment in late May . I did so but found another place nearer to home, that could offer an appt a month earlier.... read more
