It's November, 2024. I just got notified that they've been trying to bill the VA for surgical pathology performed on 4/8/2024. The last surgery I had was in 2018 at Cape Fear in Fayetteville, so this is either 6 years old, or it's fraudulent billing. As others have said, beware! Definitely something fishy going on.
Wish I could give NO stars on this review. Been trying to get a REFUND FOR OVERPAYMENT FOR OVER SIX MONTHS NOW. So far I've made 6 calls to Greensboro Path with promises for the refund to no avail. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Absolutely terrible billing department which kept sending bills after I gave them all information requested( which the doctor's office certainly had and I'm sure conveyed to Greensboro Pathology)over a period of 14 months!! They did not file with my insurance company until 14 months after service date, so insurance will not pay and I as insured, DO NOT OWE! They turned my account over to collections anyway, so now I'm attempting to clear that up. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR PATHOLOGY SERVICES. I did not choose them to begin ... read more
I completely agree with the comments on bill collection. My bill that they say I owe of $76.88 has now been sent over to a collections agency Stern Recovery Services, Inc. in Greensboro. I paid the bill back in March of 2022 with check number 6177--Bank of America. I have contacted and sent Greensboro Pathology a copy of the cancelled check from Bank of America where I paid. I have even gone into Bank of America and they have confirmed that the payment was made from Bank of America to Wells Fargo Bank, to Account Number 2000... read more
