The review about a pheasant is SPAM, possibly from another taxidermist. This incident never happened. We have been in business for 40+ years and never had this kind of problem.
I had one of my pheasant mounted by this guy and he did not get it in the postion I wanted, when we tried to pick it up he tried tosay it was his & would not release it to us even after we had already paid for it. We had to threaten him with bringing a police officer with us to pick it up for him to finally hand it over. I will NEVER do business with him again. My Uncle also had a hogs head mounted & the same thing happend to him, the guy refused to give it back & kept it. If it was possible to leave NO stars I would.
