HOA does not abide by state statute 720 for HOA. No special assessments (one time fee) for roof repairs and SIRS. Instead forces tenants to pay instead of a one time fee (law) to adding it to regulated assessments, monthly HOA fees for operations (landscaping, utilities, management). Which is why HOA fee is one of the highest in Broward County despite complex being 50 years old. To do this to seniors is especially heinous.
Best memories
Its a well maintained small vintage Condo Complex for 55 and older only! The best views are the buildings facing the Executive side of Colony West Golf Course which include a large Lakeview and/or pool view. Nice plants and garden touches throughout the complex. The buildings are solid concrete construction. Very nice especially for a non gated community. They are always very helpful, kind and respectful to all the residents. I couldn't ask for a better board.
