Great company! John was an awesome boss! I would be still working there if my life wasn't going through times. There's not to many companies I miss but this is one of them! Family orientated, solid 10 or 12 hour shifts with great benefits 5 or 6 days a week. you don't find to many places like this.
If you have a chance to work at Greene Metal take it. It’s a great place to work.
I've worked for Greene Metal Products twice, I had to leave because of family events and they welcomed me back. Yes every day is a 10 hour work day, yes it is worth it. Being a part of something that contributes to the safety of the general public and our troops definitely a plus. Just saying..If you can't take the heat stay out of the kitchen.
Well the work is not difficult in the shop or office area. The only problem here is leadership and management. I do not believe them to be racist they do not care that much. Of course there are some really good people employed here but with all business if the leadership sucks so does the company. There are no real SOP's in place or consistent standards in the overall. The other reviews are accurate except about jamal. He's a nice guy. The office staff is rude. Shop is filthy. That's just being honest. I can't function or produce well on nights so that was totally my fault
