I came from Naval Hospital Portsmouth as a Tricare patient. I was sent out at 30 weeks to Greenbrier OB. Dr. Whitted finished out my care and did my delivery. He was always very upfront with where we were at. He answered all of our questions, no matter how silly they seemed. He spoke to my husband and made him feel like he was as important in these decisions as I was. I had a very slow labor, and he gave me choices where there was room for it. TRICARE BENIFICIERIES WARNING: My daughter was referred to this office by Tricare 6/2620. Long story short I faxed the referral. on her first appointment 7/21/20 they had no record of the referral, the office staff blamed her pretty much. She was very upset she couldn’t have her first ultrasound. They told her we will call you tomorrow to set up the ultrasound. She called them, and got the run around. Now it’s Thursday 7/23/20. If you have Tricare and get referred here, ask for a new referral and don’t even bother coming here! The office staff is rude and obviously need some training. The lady i spoke to on the phone to schedule my first appointment couldn’t even spell my name right after spelling it for her 5 times!! I finally got scheduled for an appointment and when i went they claimed to have no record on me and made me fill out a bunch of paperwork and told me “we’re waiting on you” in a rude tone as i was filling them out. Greenbrier Obstetrics And Gynecology, P.C. Is probably the worst unorganized doctors office I’ve ever been to... I was just told on the phone after 4 days of trying to talk to a Nurae Practitioner that If I wanna y’all to her I need to reschedule my appointment because I walked out of the first one... the first appointment I sat there for 1hr and 45 minutes not including the getting there 30 minutes as I was asked to do... Ladies I advice you, if you need lady help DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE!
although some of the doctors in the practice are amazing . The staff and practice are a complete joke . After being denied bc pills to get me through until my appt. (after calling for an entire week ) I was also told by the receptionist if you get pregnant you can just drop the baby off with us . it's not a joke to me , and I will never step foot back in this office .
The wait is awful, my wife and I have been waiting 2+ hours for a checkup. I wouldnt make plans if you have an appt. Here
Dr Ferebee, Dr Whitehead and Dr Smith are all wonderful doctors. However their office management is truly the worst I’ve experienced. My son is 10 months old and I’m still battling with them about charges because they incorrectly filed my insurance. I am resigning to paying my balance just so I never have to deal with them again. Find a different practice!!
The wait time is excruciating. Almost two hours after my scheduled appt time and I still haven’t seen my doctor! I love my doctor, but the wait time in this office is ridiculous. I’ll be switching before my next pregnancy.
RecommendedDr. Matthew Whitted is a brilliant physician with superb bedside manner.
