I have never, in my life, paid this much for electricity. Bills are not itemized, so you cannot see what are “fees”, what you’re paying per kilowatt hour. Our electric bill regularly surpasses our mortgage for a 2000 sqft house, with no central heat or air. Absolute nonsense. Do yourself a favor, call and ask what fees you’re paying with your bill every month, and how often they’re subject to change.
