We hired GV (Fred) to kill off our back yard to rid it of zoysia grass. They gave it one spray which only killed about 30% of the grass/zoysia. I then sprayed it myself to do the job they were supposed to. Then they put down the sod. Within weeks, the zoysia was back as thick as ever. My husband called Fred and he said we should spray the yard and keep it dead for the entire summer to guarantee the zoysia is actually gone and GV would then replace the sod at no additional cost.
