RecommendedTook my Boston Terrier in today to be seen for severe and chronic issues of his left eye. Dr. Matthews was just wonderful. She is so compassionate and incredibly knowledgable. I got in quickly for an emergency appointment. She took her time with Petey and was very caring. I love that this office uses a lot of technology too. We adore Dr. Lori! This is hands down the BEST vet clinic we've ever been to. The clinic is very pet friendly from the time you get there til the time you leave. Dr. Lori Mathews is fantastic with our two dogs. She is extremely kind and caring, and she takes her time with you to explain everything and answer questions. I can very confidently recommend Green Valley Veterinary Care for all of your pets' needs!
Dr Matthews was amazing! She had a very fun and exciting personality and was very loving. I took my Mom’s dog to her for her chronic skin issues and she was willing to work with her and figure out what is causing it instead of just trying to cover it up and maintaining with medicine. She was very knowledgeable and knew how to explain different options. Very very impressed with the practice!
Dr. Lori is an amazing Veterinarian! She is very compassionate with every pet she works with. I will always trust her judgement with my pets and their care, she treats them like they are hers!
The area is literally being blessed with a very capable and compassionate veterinarian. I have been a vet for 41 years. Dr Lori worked for me, and proved herself, time and again, to be the vet I would want to take my pet to. I wish her all the best.

Full disclosure: Family recommendation. Dr. Mathews is my sister but also my “emergency consult” across the miles. We have a highly reactive dog and she has been able to give comprehensive and practical advice that led to improvements in her state. Due to her knowledge in emergency medicine, she has been able to support us in some less than ideal situations. Dr. Mathews is ambitious, confident, and compassionate. These are all of the qualities you want in a doctor for you pet and a source of advice for you.
