Lived here for 4 years. Very nice, mostly quiet neighborhood in a good location. People in the neighborhood are very friendly and there is always people out walking. The HOA, however, is awful. Annual dues go pretty much only to cutting the grass and paying their salaries. Yes, salaries. The HOA is run by a for-profit company in New Orleans. They are not even local. If any maintenance other than cutting the grass comes up, even things that should be expected like replacing slats on the the wood fencing in the alleyway, they ... read more

Great family neighborhood. We've lived here for 2 years. People are always outside walking/jogging around the pond. Neighbors are nice and we haven't had any issues with crime. We are 2 miles from several grocery stores including Rouses, Albertsons, Winn Dixie and Neighborhood Walmart. One of the best parts is that the Southern Oaks Pool and Country Club is walking distance. Our kids love the pool. Highly recommended.
