For a sushi restaurant in Kansas, the food is not terrible. The portion sizes are reasonable for their price, the staff is always nice, and the cleanliness is okay. I'm not sure if they plan on moving locations or if the building is going to be remodeled, but it would definitely help them out appearance-wise. An issue I have is how similar all their rolls are, making it feel as if they aren't even trying. Now, I'm not looking for a crazy "wow" factor; I truly believe there is so much potential here. The worst restaurant.
Honestly, I don’t understand the high ratings based on our experience. I took my husband and kids there, and I regret it. A few things were messed up with our order. The negimaki seemed like it had just been reheated and covered in sauce. Also, their steak hibachi almost look like ground beef by how small it was cut and has no taste at all. We also ordered a chicken teriyaki bento for the kids, and the chicken looked like it barely touched the grill as it was really pale, with only the sauce giving it color.
