We used Green Retreats for our garden room based initially on the intuitiveness of their website. Thereafter we paid a visit to the showroom and were able to put together a design before choosing to pay a modest holding deposit. Once the work itself was underway, the service was excellent - everything was done as per the diary and when one process needed to be put back by just a day, we were informed ahead of time. Ok, let's start with the good bits. Our 4.5m by 3.5m garden room looks fab, seems really well made, was delivered and fitted as promised with great communication before and during that process. (Note no mention of 'after'). I guess we will see how well the quality lasts, but two months in, everything looks sturdy and operates with quality. So why not 5 stars? A company is only as good as its after sales service. I've had 2 problems with my Green Retreats building Firstly an issue during installation that meant it leaked, requiring the flooring had to be replaced (I had to remove the full room of gym equipment myself) My second issue was a sliding door window that shattered during the recent hot weather, just a couple of weeks after their limited 3 year glazing warranty expired. They offered no support and quoted £880 and a 6-8 week lead time for replacement I wouldn't use them ag... read more
