We contacted Green Power Energy when our original solar installer ceased operations, including support of existing systems. From initial contact to completion of hooking our system up to our new whole house generator Green Power has been an absolute pleasure to deal with. We had a great experience working with GPE. Austin Dow was responsive, honest and clear with all information. He gave us all the information we needed, without trying to force any of our delicious. We had worked with other solar companies previously and thought their tactics were pushy, dishonest, and disingenuous. Green power was great with install and follow up . Had a problem with first leasing company and they resolved with several alternate plans immediately. I will say this and this has nothing to do with Green Power Energy ;if you expect to have solar installed right away you need to learn the word PATIENCE , your local town and power company have more to do with the install timing than anything. I have had solar for 6 months and already have had 3 months of "credits" from UI. Thanks Green Power Energy!
I hired Green Power Energy to install a solar system at my home. Shortly after the system was turned on I began experiencing electrical problems. A burned electrical connection that was not part of the solar system was later identified. Green Power denied responsibility, and Small Claims Court ultimately agreed with them. They offered me a discounted repair, but would not repair it at no cost. My takeaway is that, based on my experience, I would not expect them to go “above and beyond” if problems arise.
Aiden and his team did a fantastic job. We did our roof and a 11.8k system with them. Furthermore our old 7K system was taken off. For us it was important that the team is responsive if issues arise. I can state unequivocally that this was the case. Minor concerns were all addressed in a quick and professional manner. Could not have asked for a better installer. The system works flawlessly. Highly recommended and definitely would go with them again.
