Great bargains at yard sale every August! Green Oak Antiques is a large antique shop in the country near Rochester. It is definitely worth a drive to see this shop with its great variety of antiques at reasonable prices. We especially enjoy the "Rough Room," which has furniture in need of some restoration and TLC. Every August, the shop has a huge yard sale day with lots of great bargains. Come early and be ready to brave crowds; it's lots of fun and we've gotten some terrific deals on nice antiques.
Must SEE!!!! Green Oaks is definately worth the drive to get there! It's a good place to "get lost" in for hours! Huge buildings overflowing with a hodge-podge of everything. There's something for everyone! Antiques, garden room, primitive, shabby chic. You name it, they've got it! Great people! Highly recommend! Good prices, too!
What FUN!!! Green Oak has more stuff to see than you can shake a stick at! There is an interesting mixture of new, vintage, salvage, antique, and "junque" in a big building with several outbuildings and rustic garden stuff outside, too. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the prices are reasonable and commensurate with the quality. I can't wait to go back and it is definitely worth the drive!
