We’ve purchased 12 yards so far of screened topsoil from Ryan and I’ve been super happy with the soil quality and delivery and find his pricing super reasonable and fair. He was able to deliver 6 yards in one load (and I believe he can deliver much more than that with a different vehicle as well if needed) and he was able to get to us both times within a day or so of ordering. His smaller dump truck also fit great in our driveway which is awkwardly shaped. He’s reliable and good at what he does!
This should be your go to place for compost in Central Vermont. Don't waste your time or money getting compost from Agway, when you can get way better product that is made locally, and for slightly less money. Amazing product and great company. Highly recommend them for all your compost or topsoil needs.

Ryan Chapell sells a vast assortment of soils for all your gardening needs. We bought compost for our new lawn. The compost was dark, rich and smooth. It was easy to handle. Ryan will accommodate clients with adaptable hours and is conveniently located. And his prices are very reasonable for such high quality. Definitely recommend and we’ll be back for more!
