Ryan was fantastic to work with. From start to finish he explained his services and various options, ending with ongoing maintenance. I wish I had ‘before’ pictures. Ryan ground more than 20 tree stumps of various sizes. He was meticulous. Both with his equipment and my land. I needed a huge stump removed that was in the way of a driveway widening and was close to the property line, so excavation was out of the question. Called Ryan to ask if he could do it, he said he could and was on the job in a very timely fashion. I had never dealt with him in the past and was very impressed with his professional operation and can-do attitude ! I will certainly use him again, should there be another stump that needs to be shown who's boss !

I dont write reviews often, but Green Mtn Stump Grinding did such and exceptional job it is hard not to give Ryan a stellar review. We had a separate tree crew come and remove a huge pine tree to expand parking at our business. There was a stump about 3-4 feet in diameter and anything too large for the chipper was just left (the trunk of the tree and many large branches). Ryan came on short notice and went above and beyond for this job. He even came on a Saturday without being asked to avoid any interruptions with our parkin... read more

I had Ryan of Green Mountain Stump Grinding come over and take care of a few stumps in my yard. One of the stumps was from a 50 year old maple tree I had cut down last year. Ryan did an amazing job with the project. He is friendly, professional and top notch. He explained the whole process that was involved and what his plan was. After the stumps were ground down, he cleaned up, put down some top soil to fill in the hole. He even seeded.
