I had the unpleasant experience of a colonoscopy. The surgery center was fantastic making it as pleasant as possible. They were very efficient, professional and kind. If you have to have your colposcopy, this is the place to do it.

Still recovering from the anesthesia so ignore my grammar- but they were all so very nice. I was super exhausted, nauseous, and dizzy from the mixture of fasting and the IV and they were very patient and gentle with me and made sure I didn’t puke. Which is very appreciated. The doctor stayed with me after I woke up and talked with me about arthropods and what I’m going to school for. I'd honestly give GMSC six stars if i could. The facility is clean and bright but most importantly the staff is incredible. I was a bit anxious going in for my first colonoscopy and they immediately put me at ease. When we got into the surgical room the tech suddenly said "We're missing something very important... music!" and put on some good tunes. The whole vibe of this place is comfortable but professional. If you have the choice of where to go for a surgery, I can't recommend Green Mountain Surgery Center enough.

Updated Nov 2025, same experience professional and kind. I was nervous but they were very good Very professional and caring. I was referred here through VT Gastro who has also been excellent. Not even comparable to uvmmc gastro. This is a very nice facility. I was impressed with all the staff and level of communication and care.
