Both our site assesor Ian, and his electrician crew were extremely helpful and made the process very straightforward.
Justin was very easy to work with and explains it all with confidence and clarity. Scott was quick with the estimate and the whole install team (Nice work Avery) was smiling and efficiently got the job done! Maggie was in contact the whole process and is a great project manager! 6 stars if they would let me!
Installation was efficient and professional. After some issues with net metering were sorted out everything has been smooth. I went with solar primarily for power backup during outages and in that role the system provides a seamless transition to battery when needed. Our monthly electric bills are now 1/3 of what they were (and at least half of what we are charged on our current bills are those extraneous tacked-on fees for this and that...). I'm happy with the system, and satisfied with Green Mountain Solar's work.
We chose Green Mountain Solar over a national solar corporation because they were clearly more aware of solar power limitations and opportunities in Vermont than was the national corporation. They also seemed more aware of and responsive to the ongoing relationship we would be having if service or expansion is ever needed.
