Butchered by Dr. Gage He is the WORST dentist I've ever know. He gave me porcelain veneers in 2004 without telling me that there was acrylic in the cement. I wrote on the intake form that I was allergic to acrylic and we even talked about it. When I had an immediate adverse reaction he told me it was a side effect from the anesthetic. A year later it had gotten much worse and my entire mouth was burning up. He still didn't tell me that there was acrylic in the cement. "Free Exam" I had a similar experience as other reviewer...I received flyer for free exam....However when I got to the office, I was advised that since I was having a current problem (a sore tooth) I would not be elegible for free exam. I was informed I could use that at another time when I wasn't having a problem (a little strange). After examination I was given a printout of costs for the work the Dr. was suggesting. Total was about $1700, after I had already advised them that I had just relocated and was not yet employed ... read more

Gage David F DDS is a little pricey... Went to Dr. Gage earlier this year (February '09) after getting a mailing for a free exam (new patients). We arrived at his (what appeared to be brand new office) facing the Green Mountains & I-89.

He is the worst, most uncaring dentist I have ever encountered. He gave me veneers but never told me there was acrylic in the cement even though I told him I was allergic to acrylic. A year later my mouth was burning up and he finally told me there was acrylic in the veneer cement. I then asked him to remove them. He wouldn't do it even though I was in SEVERE pain. I finally had to write to the manufacturer of the cement myself. They told me it was possible to have an allergic reaction to the cement. I put that in a complain... read more
