I live in Manchester Vermont and was shocked by the number of power outages! The power goes out like a candle in a wind storm. This company has done little to improve things over the last 5 years. One look at their Google reviews and the truth is told, they respond to no one? Any heavy snow and the power goes out to thousands of people. The actual audacity to charge an overly expensive amount for a something no one can own, aka electricity, is beyond comprehension. Charging a service fee is one thing constantly raising the price like y’all had to work hard to create the electricity is so stupid. Why do people not understand this is a scam? The employees can’t wait to be smug and glib about your inability to grow money from a tree and say you need to “figure it out”. These guys are CROOKS! I called three times because my monthly payment was not coming out of my account. They kept saying it was a "glitch in the system." During this time I accrued a bill of about $700 (at the already insane cost of $200 a month). I agreed to pay $150 and then make monthly payments for the rest. GMP assured me this plan was all set up and then I wake up to a $700 charge on my bank account!
