I had a great experience with Dr. Bartel and Christine. Very professional and everything was timely.

I can't say enough about Dr. Bartels. I had the need for a non-emergency appendectomy to remove an undetermined growth. From my initial meeting with Dr. Bartels through surgery and the post-surgical visit his demeanor, professionalism and responsiveness has been truly incredible. His office assistant, Christine, also was an tremendous support. Highly recommend Dr. Bartels and his practice.
Spring of 2024 I saw Dr Bartels for hemorrhoid surgery just after having a colonoscopy and his office examination also found a squamous cell cancer (because it had no pigmentation) and would take care of it at the same time as the hemorrhoids. After surgery pathology showed it to be a rare non pigmented very aggressive melanoma. He set up PET and MRI scans immediately and recommended going to Dana-Farber.
