I am completely impressed by these logs. I was running low on my wood supply so decided to give these a try. And I am beyond impressed. I used them in my wood burning stove to heat my home. It took about 20 minutes to really take off, but patience pays off! I will be using these more often than not. Wonderful product!
I absolutely love Green Mountain Firewood. It is quick and easy to light, puts off a good amount of heat, and leaves little mess to clean up. The only issues I have with them is they are fairly pricey for what you get and they are difficult to find in store.
Burns clean and hot
I saw the other posts but I tried the green mountain logs anyway because the company plants a tree when customers buy a bag which i liked a lot. I am glad I did. The logs burn hotter, cleaner, and safer than the regular cord wood I have bought over the years. My son loves us using these Green Mountain logs instead of traditional cord wood because these logs do not create much smoke and they do not spark or pop. These are hands down the best firelogs I have found to replace wood to burn in my home. These are not a replacement for products like Duraflame or Pine Mountain but as a replacement for wood logs. They store easily, catch as fast or better than wood, burn clean and last a very long time. Best of all, these babies get hot!!! So after the initial fire is ready for another log, adding one or two on top of the coals makes it easy to maintain a constant heat and they catch on their own just as a normal wooden fire would do.
