About this business
Happy alpacas, happy wool. We are a working alpaca breeding and fibre production farm with an on farm shop were you will find our custom milled and hand dyed yarns and other alpaca products. The shop is open year-round (reduced hours September-May), while during the summer, we offer a number of Authentic Alpaca Experiences. Check the Experience and Events page on our website for details on all our alpaca and fibre events. Space is limited, reservations are required.

There were plenty of alpacas and knowledgeable didn't get to touch or interact with then most of the stuff in the gift shop wasn't from their animals either. All in all we felt a little cheated. Standing at the road gives you about the same experience for free

Nous avions trouvé cette ferme directement sur Google Maps nous n'etions pas au courant que c'était des visites guidées seulement. Impossible même de simplement regarder les animaux de loin si vous n'êtes pas dans un groupe de visite. We visited Green Gable Alpacas at 3:45pm on a Thursday afternoon, well aware there were no scheduled events for meeting alpacas. We were simply headed to visit the store and intended to purchase the highly recommended alpaca socks. Unfortunately upon stepping out of the vehicle, the owner was extremely rude, very concerned that there were too many of us in our party (multiple families) and was visibly annoyed at our being there.
