Took first cat here They charged me $5000 for dental cleaning and procedures facility looks nice. Staff is nice. Brought my second cat there and I always take her to my regular healing touch veterinarian Encino and they’re awesome. Have no problem they put on local anesthesia. i have taken my pup here for 3 teeth cleanings and have become very skeptical about their level of care after my most recent visit. the first time i took her in, they said they needed to extract A LOT of teeth. i was upset but wanted to be proactive, so i agreed to the procedure in order to prevent further dental issues down the road (or so i thought). the 2nd time i went, they were able to do the non anesthetic teeth cleaning, so i took that as a good sign. my most recent visit was traumatizing.. they said they had to take ... read more
Do not go here! They try to scare you to convince you to spend more money!!!! I took my cat in for some blood work and what I thought might be dental issues. Her labs came back with kidney issues and they left a voicemail at 8:30 AM that my cat possibly needed to be hospitalized THAT DAY for possible kidney disease or kidney injury. They said they would be sending the labs which I did not get until 2 Pm. My geriatric puppy has stage 2 chronic kidney damage which made me believe that she will not be able to get her teeth fixed. I assumed my fur baby was going to live a painful/uncomfortable life for her remaining life since I as a pharmacist intern understood initiating anesthesia with this disease state is already have lots of challenging risks involved.
