I can honestly say I have never been treated so rudely in my life. My daughter wears orthotic braces and can't walk far. I parked in a downtown spot that had two signs posted. One indicated it was for the nearby shopping area the other for green cottage pet parking. I returned to my car to find it blocked in by an owner of this shop. I am not a confrontational person. I just LOVE Tom and Anna and the rest of the staff at Green Cottage Pets. They are passionate about having healthy, holistic & quality products. Tom is...well... a little bit OCD about quality pet food. In a good way! I have sent many of my patients your way and my therapy dog, Hannah, would like to live there permanently. These folks are FANTASTIC! They really care for our animal family members. My first time in they loaded me up with info and free samples. They were more concerned with what my Great Pyrenees would like and what would work best with his diet than the sale. Never want to go anywhere else for our pet food needs. #foodismedicine

Stopped in while traveling from Seattle to the Hood canal. Our one year old dog had not tolerated any dog good we gave him including super expensive dog good from our vet. The owners listened to us, asked great questions and then recommended a brand of food for our dog. Within a couple of days, his stool was normal for the first time in a year and he noticeably felt better. Highly recommend this store.

What a great gem of Gig Harbor! Not only well priced and the best quality of organic pet food, but the amazing owners are very friendly and gave some in depth information about what we want to see on a label and what we don't want to see. If I had only known some of the leading dog food brands I've purchased in the past, are not healthy, and (in my own words) toxic... I'm just grateful for Green Cottage Pets and will be buying my pet food from them for years to come.

Checking out some local shops in Gig Harbor and decided to step in Green Cottage and see what they were about. They were incredibly helpful about some questions I had about my dog. They had the perfect product, educated me on it, and the price was very fair. They also talked to me about pet food...I feel like I was making an informed decision when purchasing their food but I was quickly educated about the big brand manufacturers.
