You’d think a bike shop in Winnetka would be overpriced and snooty. Completely the opposite! Very friendly owners and service staff, good selection of bikes and accessories, very reasonable prices. Perfect example of a local, family oriented business. Give them a chance and skip the big box stores or Amazon.

We were on the hunt for a bike for our little one ... My husband, is an avid cyclist and had specific places in mind. However once we entered the actual search, we unfortunately were disappointed in a lot of places on his list. Only because they did not talk to our little one, who the bike was for. Owners (Larry and Pam) of Green Bay Cycles are the best!! Super knowledgeable, helpful and really care about their customers. In addition to my own experience, I witnessed them going the extra mile to make sure their customer was happy. This shop is the real deal if you’re looking for a new bike and or service, parts/accessories, you name it, they have you covered. I would not hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone looking for anything to do with two wheels. Stop by, you’ll be glad you did!
