AVOID. Under appraised the property. When questioned and provided evidence of issues with their appraisal, they refused to make any changes or address reasonable concerns. It appears others have issues with this company based on the reviews. Consult with your bank on ensuring you are working with a quality and highly rated appraisal company.
Would give 0 stars if able. I understand many people are disappointed when a home is appraised for less than expected; however Nicole Stewart did not even pretend to do due diligence on our appraisal. She did not contact our builder and after an ROV was submitted detailing that her comps were in very different neighborhoods/school districts and the only comp in our neighborhood had a higher price per square foot, she did not update anything in her report and again failed to even contact our builder. The buyer's bank had to use them for my property. (I am the seller) The appraiser assigned to the property under appraised my property by $25,000. Several of the properties they used to compare to mine were sold more than 6 months ago with many of them being in early 2024. On top of that, they were located in different cities away from my location.
