I have worked at Green Acres of Ionia now for 6 1/2 years. Throughout my career at GAI I have grown from a DCW to a Team leader and then later on to a Resident Care Coordinator. They went around my school schedule and promote growth. I've worked at other facilities in the past and decided to chase my dream with Green Acres due to the love they give to their residents, the care they provide, and support to their staff.
With the recent passing of our mother, our family has taken time to reflect on how her final years were so vastly enriched. This occurred not only with the support of immediate family, but also through her second family. We entrusted Mom's care to Green Acres of Ionia. I have been an employee at Green Acres of Ionia for 3 years being a painter. In my time here at Green Acres I have had a lot of time to observe how the direct care workers are with the residents. They are caring, patient, and most of all loving. They treat all of the residents and their loved one like family. Green Acres if truly the place to be :)
