Terrible communication from the program! I left four messages with NO CALL BACK and Ayanna lied to me and said she left me a message and I have NO messages. Not to mention I almost always answer my phone and ALWAYS return my calls within an hour as it is my strict policy with myself. In closing Ayanna told me that she would not be able to get our special needs son in as they have over 100 people on their waiting list. You will never find a group of more compassionate instructors and volunteers than the people at GAIT. Each person there is excited and positive, which makes for a warm and welcoming environment. The horses are also well taken care of by knowledgeable staff and they are clearly thoughtfully selected to perform their jobs safely for all of the riders that come for therapeutic riding lessons. I cannot recommend this program enough.
My sister has been riding since she was 8 and loves horses. This is her 3rd equestrian therapy facility she has been to over 20 years and this has been the best by far. She has been riding at Green Acres for over a year now and absolutely loves it. The staff is incredible. They are not only friendly but they are caring and supportive of their riders. I had the wonderful opportunity to observe a few different GAIT riding lessons, and I left the ranch so very impressed with the staff and volunteers! Their interactions with each of the children was respectful, engaging, and individualized. Being a former professional educator of 34 years (a principal for 23 years) I know what good instruction looks and sounds like, and what I observed that day was extremely impressive!
