Greco never disappoints The bys are always cooking up amazing pizzas, and you really can’t beat the value for the price. Definitely some of the best bang for your buck around. Also gotta shout out the recent addition of chili flakes — such a simple touch but it makes a big difference. Keep it up!
The food has gone downhill in the last couple of years. The pretzel bites are always overcooked. The pizza dough has changed, or they’re just overproofing and/or undercooking it. It’s thin and dense, not airy at all, no crumbs when you bite it, it’s just gummy- nothing like the old Greco crust. They put way too much seasoning on the crust, it goes over the entire pizza and ruins it so you can’t even taste the toppings. We regularly order delivery from greco, its our go to pizza place. Tonight they really went above and beyond for us. Our pizza was taken by someone else when delivered. When they realized the mistake they called to let us know and were very apologetic. When the delivery driver showed up with the newly made order he let us know everything was free of charge. Excellent customer service. We love greco
It had been a few years since I last tried Greco on Torbay Road. Craving a donair, we decided to see if Greco was still serving up decent wraps. I phoned in the order and my husband and I made our way to Torbay Road. We ordered 2 medium donairs (now size small); one with only pizza sauce and cheese, the other with donair sauce, tomatoes and onions. $27 later and being hungry, we opened up our not medium donairs.
