Get directionsIt is a cult for I.Q. Challenged people. It started out well intentioned as I have seen the movie. The big book is a sad joke, AA version of the Bible. These people will push their book on you as difficult as it is to read. Not that the words are difficult to understand. It is reading one story and convincing yourself to do it again. AA took God out of the picture and now tell the challenged to find their own inner power such as a pigs hoof in a jar of iodine. I came into Alcoholics Anonymous a broken man, alcohol dependent in the late 70s & early 80s. It took some time for me to sort things out but through AA I learned how to live alcohol free one day at a time. Being able to live just for today, has opened me to the wonders of love and trust, for which I am eternally grateful.
