First Class, market is great too
Great place to rent canoes to go white water canoeing on the Madawaska River. Don and Marie and always friendly and the pickup/drop off service they provide takes all the guesswork out of planning out annual multi-day canoe-camping trip. Just make sure you pack light and are prepared to get a bit wet!
My friends and I rented a canoe and a kayak here a couple of days ago and would recommend it to anyone! Our canoe, the kayak and the equipment were driven and picked up across the river where we wanted to enter the water. Don gave us some good recommendations, an honest opinion and all the help we needed. The price is extremely fair for what you get and how you are treated. Thank you Don!!

We have ran the lower Mad 3 times over the last 2 years. All 3 times we used Don for canoe rental & transport. Don is old school. He says he’ll be there, he’s there. We have never waited for him. His service is the best available!!! And it’s not even close. It’s my belief that part of the river experience is actually meeting Don. His knowledge is unparalleled and he can advise on a number of routes/campsites/etc. Great guy! Best service! I recommend to anyone who is interested.
