I did not personally see Dr. Teehan, but I will say a few things that gives me confidence in his expertise. #1 His response to the other veteran was spot on and very detailed with accurate information. Additionally, he is one of the few providers (and I have had over 20 appointments for the VA) that provided a contact through the 3rd party contractor that handles exams. Dr Teehan has been very thorough and helpful as my primary care physician. He is bright and professional. I would recommend his office to anyone looking for an honest doctor.
My husband had an appointment to have a records review. The doctor forgot he was there. My husband walked out of the room after 30 minutes to get someone’s attention and Teehan literally said he forgot about him. The doctor did not even know why he was there. When told, the doctor wanted to redo the tests that had already been completed. The VA said they had sent copies. Luckily my husband had his own copies of the tests.
