Great Wolf Lodge looks great on the surface as a fun family resort, but then the layers start peeling away. There are separate charges for things usually included - like daily breakfasts, towels, and even parking(!!!). The waterslides and pools felt safe and enjoyable, and the staff was friendly and professional. However, there are a LOT of features in the water parks that are worn out or inoperable. Great experience as always.
My family and I spent Labor Day Weekend at GWL in Wisconsin Dells and WE Are VERY DISAPPOINTED! We Chose GWL in the Dells because we are familiar with GWL in Gurnee and expected something similar but it was nothing like it.The living room TV did not work, the “buffet breakfast” was very disappointing. Nothing like we had expected. And I was charged DOUBLE for parking. Do not stay here!!! We booked a fireplace suite online for our anniversary and they downgraded us without saying anything. So we are paying for a way better room than we are staying in. Very angry and disappointed at their business practices and customer service.
Matthew was awesome. Really made my son feel special when we checked out and built our bear. Would come back just for his service !!!
