A Gastronomical Surprise Read the two previous reviews and decided to try GCW. We're visiting Oceanside from NY (so we know good Chinese food). We were very surprised how good the food was! GCW is an unpretentious eatery. It does not have table service. But the food resonates "Flavor" with a capital "F". We were five people and each of us was talking in superlatives by meals end. Pleasures Await You My husband and I have been enjoying Great Wok of China for several years and it has never disappointed us. Usually we order our two favorites which is Mongolian Beef and Garlic Chicken. Stopping in and order right on the spot, they prepare it in front of you and you're out in less than 10 minutes. Or, we call them while on our way back from somewhere just ten minutes prior and pick up our order on our way home.
