The Great Vow Zen Monastery is a place of wonder, healing, love, and peace. I had the opportunity to participate in their Loving Kindness retreat and it has literally changed my life. They will forever have my fullest gratitude.

My time at the Beginners Mind retreat was both rewarding and challenging - as it should be :) much gratitude to Jogen Sensei, Kisei, and all the residents as well as my fellow retreatants for helping my practice. I shall return!
I was very blessed to participate in the two month summer program it was the most amazing thing I have very done and experienced! I almost didn't want to leave. It was hard to leave and I think about the time I spent there and the people I met every day! Changed my life. Going to this monastery was the best think I have done in this life so far! LOVE LOVE LOVE <3
