We’ve been testing all the dates shakes in valley. Shields was our number one choice. Tied for second is windmill Market and Great shakes. Close third is Monster shakes and Lapperts. The differential appears to be quality of ice cream that goes into shakes—ingredients that are not natural leave after taste. Great shakes wins for presentation. Cute donut and fig on top and the walnuts were nice addition.
I got the date malt shake. It was disappointing since most of the flavor was vanilla. Comparing this with Shields Date shakes that turn the shake to brown because of the amount of dates in it, this is overprice milk. I would skip this place if want good date shake.
Great shakes, atmosphere and staff, gotta try it, boys and wife loved loved loved them.
