It's really sad that the "Great Passion Play" is not doing well financially. I didn't know they had to quit having it in 2012. I remember going there when I was a kid...then again shortly after I got married. I remember the huge outdoor theater was packed out...this time it maybe had 500 people there...in an outdoor theater that holds 6,000 people. It started in the 60's with a theater capacity of about 3,000 people and it wasn't long before they had to increase the capacity to 6,000. So sad to see it going down hill...mainl... read more
Would recommend any and all see this play if ever in the area. It was wonderful.

It was a great performance! We had taken the backstage tour in the afternoon and that was really interesting too.
