Stayed at one of their accommodations for a weekend with some friends and it was a massive pain. Basically had to solve the DaVinci code to find the keys and then get into the place because the instructions were rubbish. Then they try to nickle and dime you for everything. After all payment has been made they let us know a couple of days before bedding wasn't provided but they could provide sheets for an extra $100. Horrible experience. During our recent stay at "The Beach Shack" over the Melbourne Cup long weekend, we encountered several concerns regarding the cleanliness and maintenance of the property. Despite its charming name and location, our expectations for a professionally cleaned and guest-ready accommodation were not met. We found persistent dust on high surfaces, such as the top of the fridge, along with cobwebs in numerous corners and across the rafters, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning.
