I have struggled with banking here since opening our account. We needed cash for a emergency home repair. They gave us the higher interest loan with the understanding that our intention was to get a HELOC as soon as possible to obtain a lower interest and consolidate home repairs. It became more hassle and cost than it was worth dealing with at the time. The staff at GNWFCU were amazing today! I had several large fraudulent charges on my account and they were very helpful in finding all of them and getting the money back to me quickly. My new debit card was issued to me same day, which I was very thankful for. Thank you to all the staff that helped me today!
When i call in to the 800 number and ask about fees on HSA's, the person probably should be trained to know what the fees are $10 to open and $10/yr, or at least they could be listed on the website when i click on HSA. Also would advise the person answering the questions to indicate that you must have not only picture ID, but mail with an address on it.
