Our family needed water samples done immediately after our children’s doctor had concerns of a possible exposure to lead within our water. We called and made an appointment. Upon arrival the worker stated we’d have results back within a couple of business days. We called, emailed, and reached out and was not given any answers to our water samples. Brought water test in on Dec 22, 2025. NO RESULTS for 111 days! I left phone messages on January 5, 21, 22, 23, 27 (8 calls that day). I sent emails asking for results on January 27, February 7, February 17, March 3. Becky said she was «working on it" via email on January 27 and February 10. I went in person to ask for the results on February 6 and the tests were not done at that time. Buyer Beware: I took a water sample in for testing on 11/14/25. It is now 1/13/26 (8+ weeks later) and they still have not sent the results. I paid a $75 fee upon dropping off the sample. I have called several times in the past few weeks and left messages, but have not heard back. They are totally unresponsive. I just started a dispute process with my credit card company in an attempt to recover the money back. I'm not sure if maybe they have gone out of business. I have be using Great Lake for over five years, having well testing done twice a year. Earlier this year the report was over six weeks old before I went in and ask, “where is my report” and finally got it after a week. I took my second test in August and have not received a final report, even going in three times and promised a call, never received. Final, on the fourth visit I gave up and simply asked for a refund, hopefully I will get it.

I made a special trip to turn in my water sample on 9/9, and still waiting for the results over a month later. I called this morning to cancel, and am so glad I hadn't paid for their service yet. I used them many years ago, and was satisfied, but they are shorthanded now. You can't run a business when this untimely! It made me question their competence!
