My experience at GLVR has been great. I initially went in for a consult because I was experiencing POTS symptoms. Dr. G was able to diagnose me with binocular vision dysfunction and prescribed prism lenses. After wearing the prism lenses for 3 months the motion sickness, dizziness, nausea and headaches I was experiencing are basically gone. I am grateful I was able to complete a vision therapy program at Great Lakes Vision Rehabilitation. Most of my life I encountered uncomfortable symptoms that were caused by my vision issues. I gained knowledge through working with Dr. Nichols and Dr. Gietzen which I have been seeking for years. I learned valuable tools I use daily. I was able to significantly increase my 3D vision.
I had a wonderful experience with everyone at Great Lakes Vision Rehabilitation! Emma was my eye therapist and she is absolutely amazing! She was always patient with me, great at explaining what I should be doing, and is excellent at what she does! I loved my time each week coming in because she made my sessions so enjoyable. Dr. Nichols tailored a high-level, individualized plan for me after I had already completed vision therapy in the past, which I really appreciated. Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, we were able to fine-tune my skills and identify areas that had previously been missed. The attention to detail and level of expertise truly stood out.
