Fantastic experience seeing Dr. Gietzen. He spent over two hours going over my symptoms, running tests, trying different lens types and tints, and developing a treatment plan that seemed most likely to reduce my symptoms. I feel confident that I will get symptom improvement and that I can continue to work with him to fine tune my treatment as needed. I’m extremely impressed and am so glad I went. If you have unusual vision issues and other eye doctors haven’t been able to help, give this place a try!
Who knew? What is vision therapy? After falling and being diagnosed with a TBI, I was sent to the GLVR at Excel to see a Dr. “G”. I had no ideal what I was facing. Going to see Dr. Gietzen has been life changing for me. My experience was amazing from the first phone call. I explained some of my symptoms to the receptionist; blurry vision in the evenings, double vision, high anxiety especially when in stores and crowds, exhaustion after long car rides, daily migraines or headaches, feeling disoriented, etc. She told me I had made it to the right place and scheduled me with Dr. Gietzen.
