Lola needed to have TPLO and a luxating patella repair on her leg. The staff was so helpful with explaining everything, getting us scheduled quickly, and answering any questions I had. Now she’s back to her spunky, crazy self! Update: had to bring my other dog Korra in for a procedure and they were wonderful yet again! She doesn’t like being restrained (she was a rescue) and they handled it with ease. She is doing much better now and I couldn’t be happier!
The staff and this facility are absolutely incredible. I feel so fortunate we are located close enough to come here. We have a Stafford mix that has torn both of her ACLs over the last couple of years, and we have had both repaired here. The quality and care is phenomenal. Our girl healed with zero issues and is the happy, energetic dog she always has been. Dr. Smith performed TPLO surgery on our 10 year old boxer mix this spring. She had previously injured her other knee and had a different surgery with a good result. That said, we were SHOCKED at how much more quickly she bounced back with this procedure. Dr. Smith and the entire staff at West Michigan Veterinary Orthopedics were great throughout the entire experience. We would recommend the team at this practice without hesitation!
Dr. Richard is the best! My dog got an ACL repair, and the whole team made me feel at ease. This place has the best price as well. The other offices in the area that do the same repair are about $1,500-$2,000 more.
My Goldendoodle, Gus, had TPLO surgery. West Michigan Veterinary Orthopedics did a great job of taking care of my guy and answered any questions/concerns that I had. I would highly recommend them.
