Grossly mis-matched stonework. Chipped and compromised install. Horrendous customer service. Closed up their doors. Did not answer emails, phone calls, made the evening news because of their horrible practices. Broken stone, broken promises, broken practices. Compromised an entire Habitat home project. Is there a less than one star rating? These people are shysters. How hard is it to answer your calls, do an honest job and draw an honest pay? SHAME ON YOU GREAT LAKES STONE WORKS.
I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Their work is terrible,they installed granite counter tops for me and forgot to secure / caulk one of the counters down to the cabinet. Second the seam where two large pieces of granite come together started to pull apart after a week. They came out put some kind of putty in the seam now the putty is cracking and flaking and you can see the seam again. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Where to start on my journey with Great Lakes Stoneworks... After pushing the install date multiple times, and not being able to give a time or real day they will be there to install. Or the fact the morning they said they would come after multiple reschedules they said they didn't have my stone...and didn't call to tell me they weren't coming.
