Captain Ed provided knowledgeable Briefings about each of the five wrecks we dove. He was very focused on all the divers having a positive experience and went above and beyond expectations by lending out a heavier wetsuit to a diver that wasn't prepared for the cold water in the straits. When another diver had a malfunctioning BCD he provided his own as a replacement. Excellent service and support means I will plan on diving with him again!
We had a great "Ed"venture with Great Lakes Scuba exploring the wrecks of the Keweenaw Peninsula and in Munising. The owner, Ed, and assistants George and Josh made the trip very enjoyable. The boat, Sweetwater Diver, is comfortable with a great dive platform and ladder. If you are looking to get out and dive the Straits (local stomping grounds for Great Lakes Scuba) I encourage you to get ahold of Ed and book a trip.
This was my fifth trip with Ed and he's earned the distinction as my "go-to" charter boat operator in the Straits of Mackinac. He's knowledgeable, friendly, and very safety-conscious. The Sweetwater Diver is organized, well laid out, and comfortable for up to six divers. An exceptional value!
