Absolute waste of time and money, saw me twice then recommended me to a specialist. Then why was I paying the specialist co pay both times for you people to do absolutely nothing but deeply upset me.
Do you really need my experience through this provider? Look at the other numerous reviews with simarler negative experiences. That is not random of unforseen events. That is a pattern of consistent choices.
I’ve seen 2 different providers there, while dr Carey was amazing , I still felt my appointment was rushed, I waited longer to be seen than the actual appointment. I eventually switched because everyone’s double booking and I need a provider that can actually hear out my concerns than brush me off with a pill.
Even with good health insurance they required me to pay upfront $400. and on the day of the procedure another $400. for a colonosopy. I contacted my insurance company and was informed NOT to pay them and that Great Lakes Gastroenterology should first file a medical claim for the procedure. Also, it is my own opinion certain team members are not professional and just plain RUDE ! Side note: Went to a UH hospital for the procedure and was treated professionally throughout the entire process with no upfront money.
