Tremendous OT! We absolutely love it here! My son feels comfortable, safe and has fun- so he is able to grow and learn! With so many rooms to choose from, he gets everything he needs and more. Highly recommend Great Kids Place and Michelle!!!
I have had experience with 3 programs at Great Kids Place- Handwriting, Superhero Flexible Thinking and Individual OT. We have had wonderful experiences and great success with all the programs. More importantly, the therapists/staff Michele, Liz and Laura are fantastic. As a mom I always feel supported, heard and a member of the team. My children have made such gains and always look forward to their sessions. We are so very lucky to have found Great Kids Place!
We had a remarkable turn around for my daughter after just a few sessions. Michelle also teaches my daughter to manage herself and help her become aware of what she needs. Her emotional state has changed dramatically. She was on fight or flight all the time because she was so besotted with proprioceptive sensory issues. School and insurance OT were exhausted. My son will be going soon. It’s been a true miracle. Michelle is so flexible, understanding and knows exactly what she is doing. My daughter loves her!
Suffice to say our child loved Michele from the first day. The progress has been clear from the beginning. As parents we have grown and know that we are a big part of our kid's road to being the best he can be. Michele communicates effectively with both parent and child and we feel blessed to have found such an amazing resource so close to us.
We have seen incredible improvements with Max since using your program. His pencil grip has improved tremendously as has the pressure he puts on the paper. His letters are written so much clearer and more accurately. He has also has an increased understanding for the sounds that the letters make. He has started to sound out words and really begun to read. We are blown away with the difference in his understanding of letters, what they look like, how to write them and what they mean.
